Bruchsal, Nuremberg, SPS 2019, 11/26/2019 • SEW EURODRIVE is adding further centralized and decentralized automation components to its MOVI C® modular automation system.
The MOVI-C® modular automation system gives SEW EURODRIVE customers optimum access to a wide range of drive electronics components – from application inverters to modular servo inverters.
The Bruchsal-based company's MOVI-C® CONTROLLER standard and advanced motion controllers are ideal for customized positioning applications, while its high-performance MOVI-C® CONTROLLER progressive and power automation controllers provide scalable machine automation solutions. Smart, parameterizable software modules for drive electronics and control technology make complex automation operations easy.
Numerous basic functions have also been added to the innovative MOVISUITE® engineering software – now available in Version 2.2, which supports the MOVI-C® family's entire product portfolio. SEW EURODRIVE's fully integrated CODESYS 3 programming system and extensive range of freely programmable software modules make light work of even challenging automation tasks.
The MOVI-C® modular automation system includes designs for centralized, control cabinet-based and decentralized installation, depending on specific user requirements. The MOVILINK® DDI digital interface integrated into MOVI-C® makes the wiring and startup of servomotors and asynchronous motors alike both quick and cost-efficient.
SEW EURODRIVE's power and energy management system for industrial drives, which won a Baden-Württemberg Environmental Technology Award, rounds off the MOVI C® portfolio. By recovering and temporarily storing energy to help cover peak loads, this system cuts energy consumption, while also helping to boost system availability.
