IG Shop - Industrial Gear Service Technician (1st shift) - Lyman, SC
The position involves in-house service and repair work of Industrial Gears products range, the main focus of the position is the repair of reducers by performing inspections, parts cleaning and preparation, parts pulling, assembly, testing and general clean up as well as working on electric instruments and motors.
Salary
$20-$25/hr
Actual Tasks
- Perform disassembly of power transmission products
- Perform assembly and testing of power transmission products
- Generate list of parts for replacement and reports of inspections
- Use of measurement tools to ensure parts are within specifications
- Perform testing of Electric Motors and/or Control Instrumentation e.g.: pressure, flow, temperature instruments.
- When needed, travel to visit customer sites to conduct service calls and comply with all customer required safety training and screening, including drug screens.
