Current position is to observe and evaluate workflow and processes in the five US assembly facilities and recommend, direct, and participate technically in projects that continually improve efficiency, productivity, quality, uniformity, maintainability and safety. This entails concurrent project management of multiple, long-term projects in different facilities. Position also involves technical support of the assembly processes and local resources who manage them.
Regular travel (every other month) sometimes for 1-2 weeks is expected.
Must have a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent education and experience. Three years’ experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering with project management background essential. Proficiency in SolidWorks® and mechanical design experience needed.
